The Ravens' top 2010 pick (second round, 43rd overall) from Texas remained stable at University Medical Center Breckenridge following a fall down two flights of stairs Thursday at a house in Austin, Texas. Concussion-like symptoms and swelling led physicians to extend his care, the coach said.
"He's not going to travel for a few weeks at least, so we won't be seeing him here during training camp at all," said Harbaugh, who spoke with Kindle's father over the weekend. "I know one thing, we're going to be very careful with that. You're talking about a head injury, playing football. That's not something we're going to be in a hurry to mess with, so from a football standpoint I think we'll move on with the guys we've got and get ready to play this season.
The Ravens added several key players during a hectic off-season, including wide receivers Anquan Boldin and Donte' Stallworth, kicker Shayne Graham and second-round draft pick Terrence Cody, a 360-pound defensive tackle out of Alabama who agreed to terms on his first professional contract Monday.
But top draft pick Sergio Kindle, an outside linebacker from Texas, fell down a flight of stairs last week and sustained a head injury that will probably cause him to miss the entire camp.
"I think he has a fractured skull and a little bit of swelling," coach John Harbaugh said Monday. "He's not going to be able to travel for a few weeks at least, so we won't be seeing him during training camp at all. From a football standpoint, we'll move on with the guys we've got.
"We will be preparing without Sergio. You're putting your team together Michael Oher as if he's not out there. ... If at some point in time, if he can come back and play, that will be a great bonus for us. He'll have a lot of catching up to do at that point."
Rookies and selected veterans reported to camp Monday and will begin to practice Tuesday. The Ravens open the season against the New York Jets on Sept. 13.
"The overall mission for the team in training camp is to thicken our skin, get physical," running back Ray Rice said. "Obviously we want to smart, stay healthy and prevent as many injuries as we can. The thing we know about our team is, when we're healthy we're a force to be reckoned with."
Harbaugh said cornerbacks Lardarius Webb and Fabian Washington, who underwent knee surgery last season, and safety Ed Reed, who had off-season hip surgery, will start camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list (PUP).
This is Harbaugh's third season as Baltimore's head coach. In each of his first two years, the Ravens advanced to the playoffs but fell short of reaching the Super Bowl. He will resume his quest to get on Tuesday.
"My expectations are really, really high — for tomorrow's practice," Harbaugh said. "We Terrell Suggs expect it to be the best practice in the National Football League. That's how you go about taking care of business. That's how you get yourself in position to talk about playing in the Super Bowl. ... We have a lot of work to do between now and then."
A year ago, the Ravens opened the season with Steve Hauschka at kicker. After he went 9 for 13 on field goal attempts and missed a conversion, he was cut. Baltimore then signed Billy Cundiff, who missed five of 17 field goal tries.
So during the off-season the Ravens jerseys signed Graham, who spent the previous seven years with the Cincinnati Bengals and will compete with Cundiff for the starting job.
Rice was Baltimore's leading receiver last season, so general manager Ozzie Newsome added wideouts Boldin and Stallworth to make the passing game more of a threat.
"You can't help but be excited to come into training camp," Harbaugh said. "We've been like that the last two years, and maybe even more so this year (because) we probably addressed some positional situations that have not been able to win some games for us in critical situations in the playoffs.
"I think we looked at our team and said we need to get better here, and we've done that. But you know, you haven't done it until you line up and play. That's why we have to have a good training camp."
Baltimore's full squad will practice for the first time Friday. At that point, there will be 80 players competing for 53 jobs.
The new Baltimore Ravens jerseys have agreed to terms with second-round draft choice Terrence Cody on a three-year contract.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered through a pretty bad 2008 season
Being honest, at first I didn't know what was going on (with the March of Dimes)," said McCoy, who was honored by the March of Dimes at a banquet in April . "But come to find out about it, it's kind of a sensitive and close area for me, because I have a 4-year-old daughter, and she was a premature baby. So I love helping out anyway I can."
The new Tampa Bay Buccaneers jerseys suffered through a pretty bad 2008 season, as they managed to go just 3-13 in the first year of new head coach Raheem Morris, but for one of the youngest rosters in the NFL there is hope that this team can turn things around in a hurry. The Buccaneers didn't do a lot in free agency to make them better, but believe they scored big in the NFL draft. Here is a look at what the Bucs are projected to send onto the field this season, plus my prediction on where they finish the season in the NFC South.
How does some free money to beat the NFL odds this season sound? It's only a few click away! Sign up for a new account at BetUS and earn a $500 match bonus on your initial deposit.
Offense: If the Buccaneers jerseys are going to turn things around in 2010, it is going to start with the play of quarterback Josh Freeman, who started the final 9 games of the season in 2009 as a rookie. Their is a lot of hype surrounding Freeman, but he has to figure out how to bring down his interceptions total. In his nine starts Freeman threw 18 interceptions to just 10 touchdowns.
The Buccaneers decided not to bring back wide out Antonio Bryant this season, and we could see a bunch of new faces on the field right away. The Bucs made a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for Reggie Brown and drafted Arrellous Benn and Mike Williams this offseason. Brown and Benn are the likely starters with holdover Michael Clayton and Williams the primary backups. The Bucs do bring back one of the top tight ends in the game in Kellen Winslow, and he was the target of choice in 2009, grabbing a team high 77 catches for 884 yards and five touchdowns.
At running back the Buccaneers stayed put with what they had, and that means Derrick Ward and Cadillac Williams will have to perform better than they did in 2009, when the combined for just 1,232 yards and just five touchdowns.
Despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey coming off a 3-13 season, having the lowest payroll in the NFL and facing blackouts for the upcoming 2010 season, not all news is bad news for the Glazer family.
According to Forbes, the Buccaneers ranked as the no. 12 most valuable franchise.
That is not just in the NFL. That is no. 12 in the world.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed second-round
Needless to say, the new Oakland Raiders jerseys went from perennial playoff team and Super Bowl title contender to arguably the worst team in the league.
Over the past seven years, the Raiders and increasingly senile owner Al Davis have tried to pick up the pieces and turn this storied franchise back into a playoff team, but with one bad move after another, the Oakland Raiders have become somewhat of a joke in the NFL.
One of the worst moves the team has ever made was drafting LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell with the first overall pick in the NFL Draft. Even though Russell seemed to be the right choice at the time, he turned out to be a serious draft bust and was ultimately cut three years later.
After being sent packing, Russell was arrested for possession of codeine syrup and charged with a felony drug possession. This drug charge came just after he was getting interested from the New York Jets as a possible backup to Mark Sanchez.
Unfortunately, right after Russell was arrested and charged, the Jets withdrew any interest in signing the former number one overall pick and the once promising young quarterback's career was seriously in doubt.
Reportedly, Russell has pleaded not guilty to the felony drug charge this week. It is uncertain whether or not the quarterback still has a future in the NFL as no other team in the league has expressed any interest in signing him. Even teams in the UFL have also kept their distance and refused to give the former LSU standout a second chance
The new Tampa Bay Buccaneers jerseys have signed second-round draft pick Brian Price to a four-year contract.
The team announced the deal with the defensive tackle from UCLA on Tuesday.
Price, taken 35th overall, was the Pac-10 defensive player of the year in 2009.
Tampa Bay looked to overhaul its defensive line in the 2010 draft. The Buccaneers football jerseys used the third overall pick to take Oklahoma tackle Gerald McCoy.
McCoy has not yet signed.
Also, Tampa Bay released guard Lee Grimes, who was signed as an undrafted free agent in May.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Betting Odds
Tampa Bay suffered through an embarssing 3-13 season as everything that could go wrong wnet wrong in Raheem Morris's inaugural season as head coach. Below is a winning free sports picks play on this AFC match-up from our NFL picks team of experts.
The Cleveland Browns vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Betting Odds have Tampa Bay at -2.5 on the spread at BetUs.Com.
NFL Picks Analysis: Tampa Bay's strengths play into Cleveland's weaknesses. Tampa Bay should be an improved team this season in head coach Raheem Morris's second year with the team. Cleveland has a whole new coaching staff and a team that was already limited will have an adjustment period. The Browns will try to play smash-mouth football under new head coach Eric Mangini and they are ill-equipped to come from behind throwing the ball. The Cleveland Browns vs. new Tampa Bay Buccaneers jerseys NFL Betting Odds Total is at 36.0 points.
The Browns modest running attack will have a difficult time rushing the ball against a Tampa Bay team that added some serious beef in the middle this off-season. The Bucs however should have no problem running the ball against a Browns run defense that has a big donut hole in the middle with the likely suspension of their best defensive player DT Shaun Rodgers.
Cleveland does a good job of getting after the QB but Buccaneers football jerseys QB Josh Freeman is a mobile player that can avoid the rush. The Browns have interception machine Jake Delhomme as their QB and the strength of the Bucs defense is a playmaking secondary that should grab some picks. The Cleveland snowbirds could also feel the effects of the Florida heat late in this game. Play the Bucs to cover the short NFL point spread at home.
Bucs rookie defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who was a college teammate of Bradford's at Oklahoma, told the Oklahoman that he is going to wait to put pen-to-paper with the Bucs until his former quarterback inks his deal with the St. Louis Rams.
...If Bradford receives the record-breaking rookie contract from the Rams that everyone expects, McCoy thinks that can only give him more leverage in his own negotiations with the Bucs.
"It's kind of one of those deals where you would rather let the first pick sign first," McCoy said. "You don't want to do your deal first and his contract is way higher than yours. But if you waited yours would have been higher."

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman
Favre had stated, during his first comeback out of retirement, something along the lines of not wanting to take anything away from Aaron Rodgers. That it was Rodgers turn and he respects that. The truth finally comes out. I'm not surprised that there were some politics going on. So this is where Favre got the fuel to his fire. How he sky rocketed to his most successful season. In last night's FFToolbox Expert Mock Draft (July), I saw Favre go in the 8th round. Goes to show that no matter how much people are saying he's coming back, there's still some doubt in the air to go that low. If we do another mock draft next month (please let us Jeff!), I'm interested to see where Favre would go again. If he's not gone by the 5th round, I'm gonna take him and see what kind of team I end up with in the end.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers jerseys quarterback Josh Freeman is spending another vacation day at One Buc Place. While that has become old news in the 2010 offseason, this week Freeman's time on the football field is in a different capacity. Tampa Bay's starting quarterback has run a four-day commuter football camp. Freeman grew up attending football camps, and was excited to be able to provide one for the Tampa Bay community.
"It was an easy decision," said Freeman. "We were brainstorming and decided it would be a great idea to put together a camp for all positions. I do all ages. This was actually the third day of high school commuter camps. We're working hard and coaching hard. I'm getting to know the kids and get to know what Tampa high school football is all about.
"All the proceeds from this camp benefit the YMCA, they can always use support and help. We're going to bless them in a big way by doing this camp. The first two days they blessed us and allowed us to hold it at their facility. Today I thank Mark Dominik and Raheem Morris for letting us hold it here at One Buc."
The 22-year old Freeman credits football camps with his development. Participating in football camps helped Freeman to earn a football scholarship, and end up being a first-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Freeman talked about what he learned in his experience at football camps.
"Everything I could whether it was foot work drills, the way to hold the ball, the way to throw the ball, and tons of different things," said Freeman. "I learned a lot, and I got a lot of confidence from coming to these camps. I got good coaching and learned how to compete."
Freeman has gotten some help from his teammates. Guard Marc Dile came by to work with the offensive linemen. Tampa Bay Buccaneers jerseys running back Justin Vincent and Bucs wide receiver Mario Urrutia pitched in as well. The campers were also treated to coaching from an NFL head coach with Morris. A few of the campers traveled from Texas and other states to participate. Freeman and a quarterback coaching guru were a big draw.

Aaron Curry and Jason Meadows
That's a radical concept, agreed Lynne Warren, curator of the new Calder exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
The 20th century maverick made art accessible for all ages, Warren said. Calder's work exists just to be seen and experienced. Even "three-month-old babies can gaze at it," she pointed out.
So can next-generation artists, and seven are spotlit in "Alexander Calder and Contemporary Art: Form,T.J. Houshmandzadeh Balance and Joy," the first exhibit to showcase the sculptor's influence. Divided into two galleries, the show stars more than 60 Calder works in one room, 20 by younger talents in the other.
Artist Kristi Lippire, whose works are as super-sized and playful as Calder's, is frank about the master modernist's influence. "I don't think you can hang anything from the ceiling and not invoke art history," she said.
The Windy City, a natural backdrop for Calder's mobiles, boasts more than Aaron Curry 30 masterworks including public sculptures. The city's love affair dates back to Oct. 25, 1974, when Major Richard J. Daley proclaimed "Alexander Calder Day to mark the dedications of "Flamingo" in Federal Center Plaza and the "Universe" mobile in the Sears (now Willis) Tower.
"Alexander the Great" himself was the star attraction at a circus-style parade down State Street. The MCA hosted its first Calder retrospective in conjunction with the Calder-palooza.
More than 35 years later, the bright red "Flamingo" ranks with the Bean and the Picasso as a Chicago icon. Though fixed in place, the 53-foot, mantis-like "stabile" looks ready to pounce on pedestrians.
"Flying Dragon" in the Art Institute, bristles with the same kinetic energy. Those steel-plate wings are poised to flap.
Culled from collections nationwide, the new MCA show is Matt Hasselbeck a reminder why Calder, who died in 1976, had the world on a string from the 1940s through the mid-1970s.
A roomful of his sleek, Miro-inspired mobiles -- many sporting red, black and white discs and abstract shapes -- rotate gently in response to guests' movements and shifting air currents. French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre likened the visual effect to nature "causing a thousand butterflies to take wing."
Once upon a time, the combination of Lofa Tatupu(notes) and Leroy Hill(notes) figured to be the foundation of a great linebacking corps for years to come. The last couple of years, though, they've just been average, and both were seriously hampered by injuries in 2009 (Tatupu missed 11 games, Hill five). Aaron Curry(notes) still has a chance to be a terrific player, and he better be if this defense is going to take any strides under new, defensive-minded coach Pete Carroll.

False Alarm everyone, Baltimore Ravens’ safety
The National Law Journal, a sibling publication, reports on a lawyer in Washington, D.C., who, in a sensational federal civil suit filed in late June, claims to be James's father. (The NLJ picked up on a report from TMZ.)
Leicester Bryce Stovell, a former associate at Baker & Hostetler and new Baltimore Ravens jerseys & Block, accuses James's mother Gloria of engaging in a scheme with her son and their attorneys to cover up the identity of James's real father. (Click here for the 23-page complaint, courtesy of The NLJ.)
According to a profile of Stovell on his LinkedIn page, the D.C. solo practitioner previously spent 19 years at the SEC as a senior legal adviser in the division of investment management and office of the executive director. Before joining the agency in November 1983, he worked as an associate at Baker & Hostetler in Cleveland and Jenner & Block in Chicago. He left the SEC in October 2002 to launch his own practice.
A docket for Stovell's suit lists John Burlingame, Ravens jerseys the managing partner of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey's D.C. office, as counsel to Gloria James. When contacted by The Am Law Daily, Burlingame jokingly asked if we were calling about his two teenage volleyball-playing daughters, then referred all further requests for comment to Squire Sanders regional managing partner Frederick Nance, James's longtime lawyer.
Reed said that with the recovering hip it could be "October, November and December" before he is in "full-throttle game shape." Ravens football jerseys If he himself acknowledges that he could be missing out on that much of the season, what will the pay raise mean then? Under his existing contract, Reed gets 6 million dollars a season. Injuries are a part of the game and you do not get a pay cut if you get injured playing for a team. But you also do not get to ask for a pay raise. If Reed cannot play till December, he will only be there for 5 games. If there is a reason why a player should be paid more than 6 million dollars for 6 or something games, I at least have never heard one.
It does seem though Ed knows he is not getting a better deal while he is handicapped the way he is. "If the negotiations continue and we can do some things in the process, I'm going to welcome it," Reed said. He added that he is not going to be pressuring the Raven by calling them again, "my focus is to get myself back to 110 percent," he said. "I'm not making it a big deal," he said adding that it was something that needed to be taken care of.
Reed missed four games due to the hip injury last season but he returned later that season playing another three games, including two playoff games. Reed said that he still has quickness and if he could play for the Raven's he will 'smart it up a little bit' by using his mental abilities more than his physical abilities. He might just have to consider the physical aspect of his game that is currently suffering. A player like Reed could possibly even make do with a smarter instead of harder game play. Reed has an instinct for Football and if anyone could deliver a pay raise worthy performance with injuries, it would be Ed Reed.

The Arizona Cardinals
he Arizona Cardinals are led by head coach Ken Whisenhunt who has a record of 31-23 in his first 3 NFL season with the Arizona Cardinals. The new Arizona Cardinals jerseys are currently favored at 40/1 betting odds to win Super Bowl XLV.
Below you will find a review of the Arizona Cardinals broken down into three categories: Offense, Defense and Special Teams.
The 2010 Arizona Cardinals offense is led by Kurt Warner at quarterback with Matt Leinhart as his backup. Last NFL season Warner and the Cardinals jerseys scored an average of 23.4 points/game and had 344.4 passing yards/game which sports handicappers are expecting the Cardinals football jerseys to stay on course again this NFL season since they are returning with relatively the same cast, but healthier.
Last season the Arizona Cardinals defense was 15th in the NFL for points against, averaging 20.3 points/game and the Cardinals were 17th in the NFL at stopping their opponents running game, averaging 112.8 rushing yards against per game.
The Arizona Cardinals special teams are ranked 29th in the league for field goals and ranked 9th in Kickoff returns which is an area that needs improving for them in the upcoming NFL season.
Currently the 2010 Arizona Cardinals are favored at 22/1 betting odds to win the NFC conference and they are favored at +250 to win the NFC West Division.
In 2000, no one would have believed Haggans would have lasted this long. A fifth-round pick by the Steelers out of Colorado State, he converted from defensive end to linebacker.
Haggans didn't become a starter until 2004 and missed just seven games over the next four seasons for the Steelers. An unrestricted free agent, he signed a three-year deal with the Cardinals before the 2008 season but missed the Super Bowl run because of a serious foot injury.
He recovered and played in every game in 2009, starting 14. One of the team's more-consistent players, Haggans finished with five sacks despite often coming out of the game in passing situations.
The Cardinals are counting heavily upon him again this season. Their young outside linebackers haven't proven they are ready to start, so Haggans and Joey Porter, a former teammate with the Steelers and Colorado State, need to produce.
Both are 33, retirement age by NFL standards. How they perform will play a large role in the team's quest for a third consecutive NFC West title.
Haggans has survived in the league because of a work ethic few can match. He works out in the summers when many other veterans don't. He runs sprints after almost every practice during the season.
Lott, in his 15th NFL season, won't call Haggans the hardest worker he has had, "but he's in the conversation," Lott said.
Try to schedule an interview with Haggans, and it won't happen before 11 a.m. That's when he wraps up a workout that started at 7:30. And he joins Lott and the rookies on their weekly ascent of Camelback Mountain; no Cardinal has made it up faster than Haggans (26 minutes).
